Colney Centre, Weybourne Day Unit and Mulbarton Ward (Cancer Care Fund)

Thanks to the support of the public, we have been successful in fundraising for our Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal. However, there is more that we would like to do for our patients, from providing the most comfortable chairs available to bladder scanners and syringe drivers – items which make a huge difference to our patients.

Palliative Care Team

This fund is for the benefit our Palliative Care Team by developing training, skills and knowledge to make sure our patients are supported in the best possible way. Our palliative nurses and specialists are part of a team providing wonderful patient care. The fund is used for educational purposes, for example to enable staff to attend a conference or to support study, to provide equipment and items that can improve care for patients at end of life, such as beds for carers or wash bags.

You’ll be raising much-needed funds for breast cancer care, treatment and equipment at NNUH all of which supports our patients.

The hospital charity has funded yoga classes, awarded small grants for the purchase of specialist bra, and funded a unit for our mobile scanner.
